Our Story
REVISOR is a very unique and innovative company founded by financial advisors with a passion for change. After 15 years of operating an independent advisory firm and utilizing mediocre/overpriced services, it became obvious that something had to be done.
This lead to the development of the groundbreaking outsourcing services that we offer today in the areas of Portfolio Management, Compliance, IT, and Operations. Our founders continue to advise on a part-time basis, allowing in-depth product testing and modifications. This results in the world-class user experience seen in all our products and services.
Great ideas and fancy rhetoric are commonplace today, but bringing innovative products to life requires an unbelievable amount of craftsmanship and a passion for excellence. We are advisors working for advisors and striving daily to make a difference!

Landon Jones, MBA, CFP®
Founder &
President
Landon started his career as a financial advisor with Prudential Financial in 2002. After three years at Prudential, he founded LRJ Wealth Management, a comprehensive financial planning and asset management firm. The vision to launch REVISOR started in 2013 as a passion grew to solve the problems that advisors face on a daily basis.
Ethan Dunbar, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Ethan joined the REVISOR team in May of 2016. Ethan holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Richmond. Before joining Revisor, Ethan played tennis professionally on the ATP tour.
Kyle Patterson, MBA, CLTC®
Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Kyle began his career in the financial services industry in 2012 and has been with the REVISOR team since November 2019. Before joining the firm, Kyle was a financial representative with a large IBD. After obtaining his MBA, Kyle transitioned into the Capital Markets space where he worked for a notable independent boutique firm conducting Equity Research. Kyle provided fundamental research for institutional investors on stocks in the automotive, business services, industrial, and specialty retail sectors.
Joe Horvath
Partner Services Manager
Joe joined REVISOR in January of 2018. Joe has a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace University. His proudest achievement thus far is getting married to his wife, Rachel. Joe likes serving at his church and playing most sports, especially racquet & disc sports.
Ryan Smeltzer
Client Services Manager
Ryan has been a member of the REVISOR team since December 2020. Ryan recently moved to Cleveland from Dallas with his wife, Molly, and golden retriever, Maggie. In 2018, Ryan graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with his Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Ryan worked for a residential real estate development company after graduating college. Ryan loves to play sports as well as all other outdoor activities. He played with the ultimate frisbee team at Baylor and is now participating in triathlons.
Jacob Dunbar
Investment Analyst
Jacob became the newest member of the REVISOR team in April 2021. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration. During his time in college, he competed for the varsity tennis team, a passion he pursued afterward professionally until joining REVISOR.
Chad Brown, M.S.
Software Developer
Chad Joined the Revisor team in 2018. He earned a Master’s degree in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management (IAKM) from Kent State University where he focused on Computer Science Research and User Experience Design. Previously, Chad served in the FinTech space at a Fortune 100 company as a CTO IT architect.

Bernie McKinney, CPA
Bernie received his accounting degree from Cleveland State University. He has been a practicing CPA for over 30 years and provides comprehensive tax and financial planning services to his small business owner clientele. In his free time, Bernie enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Justin Baker, CFA
Justin Baker served as a Vice President within the Valuation & Advisory Services practice at CBRE, where he performed valuation and consulting assignments related to a broad range of commercial real estate assets for clients including banks, pension funds, insurance companies, and REITs. In 2019 Justin launched LeaseToMe. LeaseToMe is a one-stop shop for retail leasing connecting tenants, landlords, and brokers.
Ivan M. Marcuse, MBA, CFA
Ivan has been the Vice President of Investor Relations for the Huntsman Corporation since April of 2017. Prior to joining the Huntsman Corporation, Mr. Marcuse served as Director, Equity Research, Specialty Chemicals for KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. from August 2011 to February 2017. Previously, he was Vice President, Equity Research, Building Products and Materials, for Northcoast Research. Mr. Marcuse holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Dean Kohmann, CPA
Dean has worked in the financial services industry since 1991, including as a CPA at Ernst & Young, LLP, 14 years as a VP of Charles Schwab, and 4 years as SVP of ValMark Financial Group before joining Otto Bosshard and founding Kohmann Bosshard. He earned his Accounting degree from Case Western Reserve University. He has been married to Diana since 1994 and has three wonderful daughters.
